The Third Annual Wenatchee Mini Maker Faire is coming up! Taking place on Saturday, October 21, at the Wenatchee Convention Center, this event will draw over 1,000 guests from across the Wenatchee Valley.

The Wenatchee Mini Maker Faire is part of the Maker Faire franchise known for hosting the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth — a family  friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.

With that being said, in order for us to continue hosting this free community event we need your support. Microsoft is offering a donation matching program. For each $100 donated by community members interested in supporting the Maker cause, Microsoft will match it.

So we have a challenge for you! We simply need 50 people to donate $100 dollars. If 50 people contribute, collectively we will have raised $10,000 dollars to help support and showcase our local entrepreneurs, creatives, innovators, educators, and students and makers in our valley.

There are two easy ways to donate:

  1. Head over to our Become a Sponsor Page and select the level of Matching Donation you would like to give. Click Submit and you will be taken to GWATA’s Paypal page where you can pay with a credit card.

  2. Mail a Check to the GWATA Office: 285 Technology Center Way, #137, Wenatchee, WA 98801

Let’s raise $10,000 for the Wenatchee Mini Maker Faire!
